Questions regarding our offerings

What are the costs for a single user profile?
Please click on "user profiles" in the menu list above. You will see a table with serveral user types, starting with a free user profile for beginners ("entry-level") up to a proposal for business hosting. The user types shown are proposals, if you have special needs (number of libraries or memory), please feel free to contact us.
Please note the payable options you can order. For example if you want to work on a server with operating system level V5R4 instead of V5R3 as user type "developer", the monthly price is EUR 17,85 + EUR 5,95 = EUR 23,80
Note: In this case you will receive a user profile on two separate servers (V5R3 and V5R4) with one GB storage each. You can exchange data between the two servers.

Is it possible to rent a dedicated server for short-term?
Yes! If you need a server for a short-time test or a two-week training, we have the right option for you. Please note that we charge a one-time setup-fee if you rent a server for less than 12 Months.
Have a look at the option "servers" in the menu above. You will see a list of available servers. If you do not find a system that fit your needs, please ask us - we can change any configuration. If you want to test a release upgrade of your environment or need to test your backup media, the destination system does not need to be the same hardware configuration as your primary server.

How to get my data to a RZKH server?
After we setup the user profile or dedicated server for you, please first check the environment. On a dedicated server the standard settings of the operating system might differ from your environment, so first go for the system configuration.
After this please decide depending of the amount of data:

• You use FTP to send AS/400 save files. This is an easy process, but might last some time when you want to send several gigabytes. Please note: When using a dedicated server, you may directly use the system commands RSTOBJ or RSTLIB to restore your data. When you use a shared server (for example the public AS/400), there are special security settings needed. Please us the special commands RESTOBJ or RESTLIB.
• You can send us your media. Please contact us first to talk about available drives, media formats and pricing for restoring and modifying for your environment.

We need help using the systems!
No problem! We can be of help in the configuration of your server or in making changes of your environment. But we cannot be of help in all questions regarding programming or system management. We can offer you trainings for cheap prices.
Please also note we cannot offer unlimited support for free - if you need some hours of consulting we can help at cheap rates or offer you a service contract.
